Manali Holiday Package – 1 (Approx. 4 Hours)

Places visited: Hidimba Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Club House, Vashisht Springs, Manu Rishi Temple.
Hidimba Temple- Dedicated to the legend of Hidimba, wife of Bhim of the Mahabharata this temple was built in 1550 A.D. in a forest grove. The temple features a Pagoda shaped roof and intricately carved front doors covered with figures and symbols.
Tibetan Monastery - A small monastery in a peaceful clearing, the architecture represents the Tibetan style designed with hued frescoes. The statue of the Lord Buddha presides in the monastery. The Monastery is famous for carpet weaving and Tibetan Handicrafts.
The Club House - A modern building, surrounded by lawns and a host of recreational activities like racket games, billiards, shopping, skating rings and a children game parks.
Vashisht Springs- Famous for the hot water sulfur springs, temple of Vashisht Rishi and Lord Rama.
Manu Rishi Temple- Located at old Manali village, this is the only temple of Manu, the great Hindu law giver.

Nehru Kund- Located 6 Km. from main Manali, this is a Cold water spring named after the Late Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. The legend says that the water at the spring has healing qualities.
Solang Valley - A beautiful picnic spot, with lush meadows surrounded by silver oak trees and a panoramic view of the snow clad mountains. It has facilities for pony rides for children and for the young at heart. It is just 45 Mts. away from Manali town.
Kothi - Located at a distance of 15 Km. from town, this place offers the sight of a bridge that was the focal point an interesting episode in the early annals of Kullu.
Gulaba Camp - Located 20 Km from Manali, the valley is a popular picnic and photography spot and is called the mini 'Valley of Flowers'
Rahla Fall & Rani Nala- Located at a distance of 46 km. from Manali, this is a glacier point with snow round the year.
Rohtang Pass- 51 Km. from Manali, this is the highest point on the highway connecting the Kullu Valley to Keylong. With an altitude of 4112 meters, the location offers skiing and trekking opportunities. The pass offers a wide spread Panoramic view of the mountain serenity, almost directly opposite the well defined Sonapani Glacier, which is slightly to the left of the twin peaks of the Gaypan.

Jagatsukh Temple- This famous Shiva temple is built in the Shikhara style and there is an interesting old temple of Gayatri Devi and Sharvali created by the Pandavas.
Naggar Castle Built by Raja Bhosal, the castle was the old capital of Kullu.
An art gallery housed in the Naggar castle features paintings of the famous Russian artist Nicholas Roerich.

Manikaran - Located about 105 Km. from Manali, Manikaran is situated in Parbati Valley at the distance of 32 km from Bhuntar. The water from the hot sulphur spring at Manikaran is said to have medicinal value and is a cure for a number of chronic ailments. Manikaran is also known for the temple of 'Lord Shiva' who remained in 'Samsadhi' for eleven thousand year in 'Treta Yug'. Temple of 'Maryada Parshotam Ram' Naina Mata and Gurudwara are also there.
